Does this look like your gutters? With Winter fast approaching, now is the perfect time to make sure all of your gutters and downpipes are clear before the real Winter rains begin and you find yourself with water running down the walls or through light fittings. A little prevention now can save so much later. |
Golf Day 2014
Thank you Chelsea SES
Ready to go for 2014
With a very early start for the volunteers involved in this year’s Thank You Chelsea SES Golf Day being held at the Chelsea Public Golf Course by The Australasian Golf Club, the last thing anyone needed was a busy Saturday night. Sadly, it’s rare to have everything go to plan and around 5pm on the Saturday evening 2 major storm fronts hit the Chelsea Operational area leaving the volunteers with almost 50 jobs, including building damage, trees down and flooding, to deal with. With this in mind, there were more than a few bleary eyes when they arrived at the course to set up and prepare breakfast around 7am.

The start of a big day for Paddy At the end of what has been a very busy week here in Chelsea for Paddy the Platypus, the last day of his visit to Chelsea unit was no different. Saturday (16/11/2013) began early when he joined members at Woolworths Supermarket in Chelsea for a fundraising barbeque with Chelsea volunteer members, Desanka, Chris and Hans and to meet the locals in time for some well earned hugs from everyone from the young to the not so young.
