Support For Chelsea SES
Good Community Neighbour
Brad cann and Chelsea SES Controller Ron Fitch Signing On For Another 2 Years
Chelsea real estate agent, Brad Cann, has agreed to support the Chelsea SES for at least another two years. Mr Cann, the principal of Brad Cann and Partners, Nepean Highway, Chelsea has been a long-term supporter of the Chelsea SES.
He is pictured signing an agreement with Chelsea SES Controller, Ron Fitch (right) to continue his support for the unit. The agreement will continue beyond two years, if both parties agree.
Mr Cann will make an annual donation to the unit to be used for general maintenance and the purchase of new equipment.
The link between Brad Cann and Partners and the Chelsea SES Unit will be highlighted by a large sign on the corner of one of Chelsea’s busiest intersections – Thames Promenade and Scotch Parade.
Mr Cann said he admired the work of SES volunteers who often put themselves in dangerous situations to help the community.
“I have often wished that my work allowed me to join in but I am afraid real estate today is a seven day a week occupation,” he said.
“However, I am pleased to be able to be able to help the Chelsea SES make our community safer.”
Mr Fitch, who has been a member of the Chelsea SES for 19 years, thanked Mr Cann for his continued support.
“While we receive financial support from the City of Kingston and the State Government, we still have to fund many of our activities ourselves.
“That is why we really appreciate the level of support we have received from Brad,” he said.
