AAMI & SES are a winning combination

For 11 years, AAMI and SES have developed, and grown, a relationship that has seen SES volunteer members share in more than 3 Million dollars worth of equipment for their respective units.
Tonight, (11/07/2013) it was Central Region’s turn to be presented with their gear. On hand were Central Region Manager, Ray Jasper, VICSES CEO, Mary Barry and AAMI Senior Sponsorship Adviser, Chris Leat along with representatives from each of the Central Region Units.

Following a group shot it was time to hear a few words from each organisation. Firstly, Mary Barry welcomed everyone to Christmas in July with AAMI playing Santa and then outlined the importance of the AAMI sponsorship in the continuing updating of equipment to assist SES members in the work they carry out for their communities. Chris Leat spoke about how every SES volunteer member is in fact an ambassador for AAMI with their company logo proudly worn on all SES PPE. He went on to tell the group that the sponsorship had seen 3.1 Million Dollars in equipment going to SES Units right across Victoria and that he hoped that the relationship would continue into the future.

Phil Holt, Acting Controller from Springvale, spoke on behalf of the volunteers and expressed the appreciation of every unit for the generous sponsorship by AAMI. Once the formalities were out of the way, each unit took turns to collect their swag and pose for pictures with Ray and Chris.
